Process Improvement Analyst

LAC Federal seeks a mid-level Process Improvement Analyst to support business process reviews for a major Federal Agency in the Washington, DC area.  This position is expected to last for approximately 9 months.  Work will be done remotely but periodic travel to Washington, DC will be required. 
The Analyst will support the Senior Consulting in the re-engineering of a wide range of business processes using continue process improvement strategies, methodologies, and principles.  This will include performing management reviews of existing processes and institutional organization, conducting SWOT analyses and providing detailed assessments of various opportunities, challenges, and strategies for improving operational performance.  Primary duties include research and report writing, meeting with key stakeholders, and analyzing current business processes.  The Analyst will prepare various reports on best practices, implementation and change management strategies, and identifying opportunities for streamlining, centralizing, or transformation business processes. 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5 years total experience performing work similar in scope
  • Experience performing business processes analysis, change management, process redesign/reengineering, development and
  • Strong skills in problem-solving data analytics and data visualization
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Lean Six Sigma methodology
