Administrative Assistant
 

LAC Federal is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work for a Federal Agency in the Washington, DC area.  The Assistant will help office staff in writing, editing and proofing a variety of documents in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents including formal reports with scientific and administrative data and charts.  Assistant will help run the office including receiving, sorting and distributing mail, answering the phone; maintain a schedule in Outlook, and filing.  Experience with grants and proposals is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Qualifications:
  • Skill with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint and knowledge of how to compose, edit, and format letters, memos, and reports
  • Ability to work with charts and graphs
  • Excellent knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Ability to proofread, correct errors for style and content
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
